Heya all,
I posted this to another tribe a while ago, but I think it needs to be posted here since a some of you may be unaware of SCHAFT, which is by far my favourite side-project of Mr. Watts. (Or is it "Mr. WATTS" since he capitalizes everything unnecessarily?)
Anyway, I included a link to where you can buy the album. It's expensive, but honestly, it kicks the living fuck out of Pigmartyr. Pigmata, of course, is just a release of Pigmartyr with new songs, (and Pigmartyr didn't even HAVE all new songs).

As some of you may have heard me rant in the past, few years, I am a huge fan of the band SCHAFT. They were best-known for their collaboration in Japan among Buck-Tick and PIG. (Before Raymond was involved, they did a short stint on this noise-like comp). In short, they flew Raymond Watts out to Tokyo, fed him some sushi, rented him any studio he wanted in the world for a few months, and they had some talented people mix (and remix) all of the song.

The Schwein album Schweinstein is one I highly recommend. A buck tick, KMFDM, PIG collaboration that was produced and recorded in Japan. -

Mon, December 12, 2005 - 2:21 PMYes!! SCHWEIN is great - definitely a biproduce of the SCHAFT years when Raymond moved to Japan for a bit, (I hypothesize he went there to have sex with 14 year-old girls because.. well... you've read his lyrics, right?)
Anyho' - are we supposed to capitalize the names of every damned sideproject of his? I have always wondered that.
