umm. i just joined this tribe. But, I must only be half cool, 'coz I like Ray, but pretty much hate Bile. Half cool is better than my own assessment of myself, though.

Hey Mike...we're already up to 7 members. It's moving faster than Bile did.

A few of my favorites are:

KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, FLA, Die Form, Joy Division, Bauhaus, old Ministry, Snog, :W: and Switchblade Symphony

                and PIG, of course

My only experiences with Bile was on the KMFDM tour and a couple of MP3s. But they were both equally bad experiences. They came across over the top and just goofy live. Like when the lead guy pretended to shoot the audience with an automatic rifle (his hands) during the programmed drums that were super sped up. And when he altered his vocals in an attempt to be a "wittle girl."

Contrast this with Watts, whose stage presence and vocal delivery is commanding. He's sexy and dirty at the same time.

I'm not alone in my Bile dislike, the old KMFDM live journal had lots of disdain for them. But I think even if I'm alone here that's okay, since this is a Ray tribe.

To say the least you're not alone with your dislike for Bile. I remember how many pissed KMFDM fans there were when they announced Bile as the opener.

I, of course, jumped for joy.

If you're willing to give them a second chance and want to try something by them that isn't so over the top...try either NIGHTMARE BEFORE KRZTOFF or a side project he did with Levi from TKK, called BLACK FROM THE DEAD. Both much more diverse, cool and a bit more serious. Bile does silly stuff and has silly lyrics...but that's part of their attraction. It's very heavy, electronic and fun!

But either way, we're glad to have you in this tribe!

Old Ministry and old :W: fuckin' rock tho!
